I lead design end-to-end, from early discovery and user research through shipped, measurable outcomes. My background is mainly eCommerce and consumer products, where I've spent years studying how people make decisions online, what builds confidence, what causes drop-off, and what brings someone back.

I love the problem-solving that is involved in UI design at a seemingly-minute scale- all the little details that make an interface feel right. AI tools like Claude and Claude Code are now a real part of how I work, not a novelty- I use them to prototype faster, explore more directions, and think through problems before I open Figma.

I consider myself a data and research-driven design, as I believe that ghood design starts with real understanding, not assumption. I run interviews, usability tests, card sorts, and tree tests, and I pair that qualitative work with behavioural data from tools like Fullstory and Google Analytics. My focus is on translating findings into decisions, not just documentation.

I'm an advocate for accessible design as the baseline, not an afterthought. I'm well-versed in WCAG and WAI-ARIA standards, and I've implemented accessibility-compliant design changes and managed associated projects, including for Costco's Photo Centre.

I have solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- enough to collaborate closely with engineers, understand technical constraints, and communicate the design intent clearly through handoff. I'm also comfortable in Webflow and WordPress.
I've contributed to and evolved design systems across multiple products. I know when to work within existing systems, and when to call out for new changes or components. Consistency and scalability matter as much as the individual screen, so maintaining a well-kept design system is key.
